Go to Adventure Beginner School - Adventure Interim School,

change to Accountant to learn Accounting, Sociability, Caution, Investment, Sewing, Alcohol Trading ; then go to Merchant Beginner - Interim School; should try trade alcohol and chicken feathers to Arguin and get to Merchant Level 10.

change to Brigand to learn Steering, Swordplay, Plunder; then go to Maritime Beginner - Interim School. Expected Level 10/10/7

An Developing Adventurer__________________________________________________ ___________________________

Now, change to Helmsperson to learn Geography, Recognition and then do team Geo quest, accumulate 2000 fame and 600K fund. Learn Archaeology, Treasure Appraisal, Theology, Art from various NPCs by the way. Estimated level 13/10/7 by the end. I am able to learn Body Language, delete Spainish, Italian and French if I don't have skill slots. Learn Arabic, Greek. Be ready to learn other languages if needed.

Then change to Escavator to learn Unlock do some adventure quest around to reach Archae R4 and Treasure R3. Take care of acquiring equipments from the map of ancient cloth (Art+1, Archae +2), the map of fantastic weapon(Archae+1, Sociability+1) and the skill enhancing accessories (Art+2 or Archae+1). Discovery all reachable cities around and report to right NPC.

Do circular quests like Sultans/Mourning or Seven Wonders/Mourning to practice Archaeology and Treasure Appraisal. The focus should be Archaeology and Unlock. Make sure my Archae reaches 5+4/6+3, Search reaches 5 and Unlock reaches 5 that make me an adventure expert.

Now I can choose to work on Art even if it is not the the favoured skill, I can reach Art 2+3/3+2 easily. Doing the map of Church Vessel in London is a good practice. I need partners to have multiple maps at once. It is a very good way to farm fame. Each map cost about 2 minutes in total and gives 67 fame. So it is possible to farm 2000 fame/hour.

Once my Art reaches 7, Unlock and Search reach 6 (with equipment) I can start doing the most fame rich business in this game that is the Religious Painting map in Lisbon Archives and found in the smaller church of Marseille and report to Labolei (not Vinci pls). Each costs 4 mins and gives 200 fame and 43K cash. My fame/money/Art level will sky-rocket for it. I need a fleet to do it of course. Now I am well above level 20 on adventure, hire an aide according to my interests. (I will hire a yarn dealer or an archaeologist personally)

A Melee Fighter__________________________________________________ ____________________________

With all these achievements, I now have a lot of choices. I just pick one:
Change to Mercenary, buy a Galley (16/3/0) or a Large Caravel (19/5/0) if I am not interested in Rowing. Learn First Aid, Assault, Repair. The reason not to use cannons is that there’s no good cannon available at the beginning. I think cannons worth using will come out 3 weeks after the server opening. For now, as my plan is just one week after the opening, melee is more efficient. It would be good if I can get these equipments before starting maritime: The Lion Heart Armour by a quest in Venice (Treasure R7), Alexandra’ Sword by a quest in Amsterdam (Archae R9) or the Golden Armour (Treasure map R4 in Alexandria, with prelude), the spear in Sofala is a good and cheap weapon too. I can buy equipments too of course.

Now I can start fighting. I can join a maritime fleet in Genoa to do circular quests. It is easy, profitable and fame rich. It’ll take you maybe 30-40 hours to reach Level 16. You may accumulate 10 million after this. Or, I can fight the wild NPCs in the sea near Lubeck in the Baltic Sea or the sea near Las Palmas/Arguin. In CB, I took me 7 hours to reach level 16 from 10 (I regret I was not well equipped not all). I did not make a penny, but it was faster. Just use Assault. If I am interested in being a shipwright, I’ll be a Jr. Officer and try the Skill Tactics. I’ll learn Shipbuilding anyway once my Repair reaches 3.

The First Gold__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____

The most obviously thing after it is that I could have total fame that is well beyond 16K. I can go straight to Calicut without the storyline and I did not miss anything. Now I’ll change to Animal Trader, learn Aminal Trading, make a whole cargo about 300 chicken feathers (remember I learned Sewing before) in Lisbon. I’ll make a long journey to Calicut and sell feathers there 50 by 50, this way maximize you exp. I’ll come back with 300 peppers and the ship Sambuk which I can not handle for now. I will sell the pepper 50 by 50 in Faro or Ceuta, because spice price there does not collapse. I estimate these two trades will earn me about 7500 merchant exp. If I start with merchant level 13, I have got level 16 now. I have the level 22/16/16 which puts me in my Sambuk, the fastest ship available now.

Just Another Start__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____

The Opening here is well closed. I am advancing to the master occupations:
I may work on being one of the first spice traders of Portugal. Train my Perfume Trading, Spice Trading skills in India, dealing with Jasmines, get promoted to Spice Trader job, bring cash back to invest on Lisbon.
Or, I may work on being a Shipwright, train my Tactics to 7 or 3+4 highly possibly.
Or, invest Saint-georges for gold. Do 2-4 times gold traffic in a day.
Or, I start pig slaughting in Faro and become a cook.
Or, become a sewing master once I accumulate enough purchase orders.
Or, work on Plundering the NPCs for precious,
And I will not give up adventure and discovery more stuff as an Archaeologist.
But all these doors are opened for me, I can do every and I do all.
